It seems that I have been planning this litter since the day Donnie was born, (April 30, 1998)...a linebreeding on Ferro was always my plan sometime in the future, and the dream was finally realized with a little help from both of the parents. :) I don't think Donnie or PDQ could have chosen a better time...EXCEPT at 5:00 a.m.! After much deliberation with ALL of the co-owners, the decision was made to go ahead with this breeding.

Without glancing at the below pedigree, this litter is tightly linebred on Multi BISS Am/Can CH. Von der Lors Ferro Braxx, CGC, HT. An incredible producer! Ferro is close to his ARC Gold Producer Status, in very *limited* litters! I have included the litter breeding report below, and it's interesting to note that FERRO shows up BEFORE the parents do...exerting a 50% influence on the litter.

The in-breeding co-efficient for this litter is an incredible 16%.

The puppies from this breeding are spectacular!!! ALL of the puppies have excellent temperaments, FULL and correct dentition, rock-hard toplines, wonderful angles, HEAVY bone, beautiful breed type, correct coats, gorgeous head type...in fact, the puppies are larger than their father, Donnie...in body, bone, and head type, at only 11-months old. Proof of producing parents!!!!

It's actually amazing to see genetics at work...I see grandparents/gr-grandparents in these puppies. Size is definately coming through from the grand-parents and beyonfd - both in weight and height. Vinnie, the purple pup was last weighed in 110-lbs, at 26.5 inches tall. An overall massive dog.
