Braxenburg Rottweilers ~ The Beginning
In rough chronological order - click on dogs' names for pedigrees and more information. I will always consider these dogs to be my introduction to Rottweilers. Although they were never bred, they shaped me for the Rottweilers to come.
CH Damien's Poetry In Motion,
CD, CGC 1992-1998 'Heidi' was the first Rottweiler to have graced our home. She was a great beginner's Rottweiler although I probably did everything wrong with her that I could. She was the introduction into conformation and obedience for me. I had grandiose dreams of breeding her however she was diagnosed with Moderate (OFA) HD and Grade II hip dysplasia. |
CH Damien's Renegade Braxx, CD,
CGC 1993-1996 "Braxx" was my introduction with male Rottweilers and he was an absolute dream to train and own. Braxx was so well behaved and did everything I asked of him. Braxx was OFA Good, OFA Elbows, CERF. |
VVN-2 BPISs CH Hazelburn's Cree
v Braxenburg 1996-2000 "Cree" was a long-awaited puppy for me. I had worked out a deal to campaign her Dam, CH Selma vom Markgräflerland to her Can CH. While doing so, I piloted Selma to a spot in Top 10 Rottweilers. Selma was gorgeous and I loved to show her. Once Cree was born, we had a blast showing the wild child. Unfortunately Cree was diagnosed with severe HD .. and she was in constant, chronic pain to the point that I had her put to sleep at the age of 4. It was heartbreaking however she was my dog and I couldn't bear to see her in pain any longer. |
